OXNARD -- Junior high school students are being asked not to hunt Internet sex sites for a Southern California teacher who might have been moonlighting as a porn star.
The Oxnard School District says the Haycock Intermediate School teacher has been placed on paid administrative leave while allegations of her participation in sex videos are investigated.
The teacher's name hasn't been released.
School officials say the video did not involve any district students.
A letter was sent to parents on Tuesday informing them about the issue. District officials stressed the teacher is not accused of a crime, but they are concerned about the effect the allegations might have on the students.
The police department is not investigating the allegations.
